Salem, OR — Dr. Angela Plowhead, U.S. Air Force veteran, clinical psychologist, and small business owner, has announced her candidacy for Oregon State Senate District 10. Running to bring transparency and practical solutions back to Salem, Plowhead is focused on delivering safer communities, stronger schools, and a more responsible government.
“Oregonians are being silenced while their concerns are ignored,” said Plowhead. “Senator Deb Patterson has repeatedly shut down public input on extreme policies and pushed dangerous price-capping schemes that threaten access to healthcare. District 10 deserves a leader who listens, respects public voices, and puts people before politics.”
Plowhead draws inspiration from the legacy of the late Senator Jackie Winters, who once represented the district with principle and poise. “Jackie led with integrity and a deep respect for the people she served. I will work every day to honor that legacy with honest, effective leadership.”
