I'm Dr. Angela Plowhead. A mother, wife, veteran, clinical psychologist, and small business owner.

I served in the U.S. Air Force, where the decisions I made were life or death. I've sat across from veterans in crisis and helped them find their way back and created a non-profit to help others in this same work do the same. I've built a group practice from the ground up, one that has to deliver for patients or it doesn't survive. And for years I've served on local boards and committees, doing the quiet work most people never see, because that's what public service looks like. That's the standard Salem isn't meeting.


My opponent, Deb Patterson, has held this seat while gas prices, grocery prices, and housing costs have skyrocketed. Salem has spent more than ever and delivered worse results, not better. Deb Patterson supported a law that lets violent felons walk free, some arrested more than six times in a year for the same offense. There's almost never been a tax increase she hasn't supported, and she was one of the loudest voices for the largest tax increase in state history, a measure Oregon voters rejected by 83 percent. If she keeps this seat, you can bet she'll try again. She has helped create the affordability crisis Oregonians are living through right now.


Meanwhile Salem keeps lowering the bar for our kids instead of raising it, and our schools keep falling further behind.
None of this is inevitable. It's the result of choices.
Leadership means owning those consequences, and having the discipline to fix what isn't working.


That's why I'm running for Oregon Senate.


This race isn't about rhetoric or ideology.
It's about restoring responsibility, accountability, and results.
